The Energy Of Chakras
Balancin The Body's Energies
/i//chakra1.jpg Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning "wheel," or "vortex." Each chakra is like a solid ball of energy interpenetrating the physical body. The chakras are not physical, they are energetic aspects of consciousness. They are more dense than auras, but not as dense as the physical body.

The seven maind body chakras interact with the physical body through two major vehicles, the endocrine system and the nervous system. These seven chakras are associated with one of the seven endocrine glands and with a particular group of nerves called a plexus. Each of these chakras is also associated with particular parts of the body and certain functions within the body controlled by its relating plexus or endocrine gland.

When you feel tension in your consciousness, you feel it in the chakra associated with the part of your consciousness experiencing the stress and in the parts of the physical body associated with that chakra.

When tension within a chakra continues over a period of time, or reaches a particular degree of intensity, a "symptom" is created on the physical level. The physical symptom serves to communicate to the person through their body what they have been doing to themselves in their consciousness.

It takes conscious change to completely release blockages and stress points in the chakras which in turn will release the physical symptom.

Each of the seven body chakras is energy vibrating at a certain frequency, in a logical and orderly sequence of seven vibrations. The colors of these seven chakras also represent a series of seven vibrations in a logical and orderly sequence, as do the notes of the musical scale. The heaviest vibrations or the longest wavelength is on the bottom and the lightest on the top. There are particular colors that represent each chakra in its clear state, as well as particular musical notes. Notes in a certain key vibrate a particular chakra. Our relationship with a certain color also says something about our relationship with the part of our consciousness that the color represents.

There are also higher chakras linked to our higher/angelic selves and earth chakras linked to the energies of the planet. As one's vibration becomes higher through conscious work, the higher and earth chakras begin to activate.

In the Healing Room, most chakra work is done to balance the primary seven chakras and bring body, mind and spirit into greater balance. There are specific vibrational techniques of "forced resonance" which I utilize to "shatter" blocks impacting the chakras. The chakras are then "unified" in their function.

At this time, certain individuals are activating their higher/angelic chakras. If this is the case, I work to unify the chakras of the higher and lower selves through a process called "Rainbow Bridge."

/i//chakrasendo2.jpg By becoming aware of our chakras and their associations, we can learn to see the importance of resolving the tense issues in our lives.

If it were only a question of doing what is necessary to be happy, that would be reason enough to motivate anyone to want to change something that doesn't work for them. But balancing the chakras is also a vital matter of wellness. If issues are left unresolved in a person's life, it will become hazardous...become disease.
